NOTE:
Post-canon; domestic.

SUMMARY:

The best place on Earth.

It’s way past hai shi.

Lan WangJi sat in Jing Shi, slender fingers strumming mellow, soothing melodies from his guqin. The notes were quiet yet serene, soft yet tickling the heartstrings. The pacifying mood in the room was one many would yearn to submerge themselves in, especially ideal after a whole day of work, and especially ideal to clear the mind.

However, this appeasing mood was soon disrupted when the window was drastically opened, followed closely by the sound of something trundling into the room.

SUMMARY:

When things don’t turn out how you thought it should be.

Lan WangJi was already peeling the last of his robes off his body when Wei WuXian walked into the sight of a sturdy body, ravishing muscle lines streaming down south, creating a scenic view that’s nothing but delightful right in front of his very eyes. His lips went dry. Totally succumbing to his urge, he lurched towards Lan WangJi and planted a brief kiss on his soft, fair pair of lips.

“How dare you seduce me, hm?”

SUMMARY:

A story of two high school boys learning how to take care of an injured kitten.

56.

Their fingers brushed lightly against each other, touching fleetingly, teasingly; every caress they felt on their own skin only itched them more.

If they weren’t on their way to school, early in the morning, they’d probably be intertwining fingers by now, holding each other and feeling warmth in each other’s hands as they walked down the wide street. The previous time they got into the heat of the moment was the first and the last and they were only lucky no one caught them while their lips were on each other. Wei WuXian was so agitated back then that it wouldn’t be a surprise if students who were passing by on their way to school thought that they were arguing. It’s not too far-fetched anyway; Wei WuXian was aware that the whole school probably thought they were on bad terms thanks to their unusual interaction mode. Lan WangJi always held a cold mien with him but Wei WuXian knew more than what he portrayed. While Wei WuXian approached Lan WangJi like it’s nothing, always grinning at him, always talking to him, Lan WangJi was always cold. Their contrast was stark, but it was comfortable. Other people might not understand how they worked but that’s fine too. More importantly, they knew it themselves. And that’s all that it mattered.

「Of Dedication」

FANDOM: Mo Dao Zu Shi
RATING: gen.
NOTE: vignette from Lan XiChen’s point of view.

SUMMARY:

Before he’s the Sect Leader of Gusu Lan Sect, he’s Lan Huan, son of QingHeng-Jun and Madame Lan, nephew of Lan QiRen, and brother of Lan Zhan.

1.

Since he started making sense of the world, he knew that his world was different from the others; he’s aware of the different kind of treatment that’s given to him as compared to the ones given to the other same-age disciples around him. He also knew that his position in the family was different, but above all, he knew that his parents were different; not the kind of different that he thought would be a default just because his father was Sect Leader, but a difference that was the kind of different that’s unlike any other parents a child normally should have.

It’s Meeting Teacher’s Day.

Lan XiChen walked out of the teacher’s room after a meeting with the form teacher for Lan WangJi’s class, finding Lan WangJi sitting all by himself outside the classroom, waiting for him. With a smile, he strode towards his brother.

“WangJi, we can go home now,” he said.

“En,” Lan WangJi said, slinging his school bag to his back and stood.

「Your Heart on My Sleeves」

PAIRING: Lan WangJi x Wei WuXian
WORDS:

RATING:
General
NOTE:
Post-canon; inspired by “Wei WuXian always (accidentally) wears Lan WangJi’s inner clothing (中衣; zhongyi). Zhongyi is kinda like, the closest garment to the body, it’s the most intimate and private layer out of all the other layers one wears in modao’s worldview 😇

SUMMARY:

Some habits won’t change, some gestures go unnoticed… not for long.

If the details of this night-hunt were to be spread throughout the cultivation world, it’d definitely serve as a laughing stock for a long, long time.

The yao they were supposed to seize during this night-hunt was totally something that had taken them off guard, not only because it turned out that, well, it wasn’t a yao but a beast in the first place, but the disciples had let their defences loose just because the beast looked very much innocent and docile, and, in just a blink of an eye, they were ambushed, attacked, and now…

…chasing after what looked like a totally fragile, unharmful duck all over the forest, the sounds of yelling, footsteps scampering, and duck quacking echoing throughout the compact woods.

NOTE:
Post-canon; appetizer for Wei Ying’s birthday. Happy birthday, Wei Ying!

SUMMARY:

Food speak of more words than one can expect them to.

He told himself he’d wake up earlier this morning.

But it didn’t happen.

There will be another family banquet later and he was required to attend too. The day before, Lan WangJi had told him about it when he asked if Lan WangJi was free the next day. Nothing much; he simply wanted to take some time off with Lan WangJi, maybe heading out for a bit, just to catch some air that’s not the Cloud Recesses’ breeze. But when he asked Lan WangJi, Lan WangJi ー who’d always notice his intention whenever he asked him a question ー had, oddly, lowered his gaze, looking like a guilty child before he told Wei WuXian with immense difficulty that there will be a family banquet the next day.

Wei WuXian was surprised when he said that; not because of the family banquet, but because of how coincidental it was for the family banquet to fall on the same day as his…

…birthday.

NOTE:
HP AU.
A/N: Try my hands on a HP AU. I was at Universal Studios Japan yesterday and gathered some inspirations + a friend, mina, enabled be so here we are. Not sure how many people are familiar with HP here but if you like, hope you find enjoyment in this very self-indulging write _(:3

SUMMARY:

Revelio; a charm used to reveal concealed objects, messages, invisible things, and passages.

The crowd was electrified, soaring to new heights of emotions. It was all quiet one second and then deafening the next, rising to a crescendo and falling to a trickle before the same nervous tension commanded silence once more.

Ravenclaw had just scored another ten points, putting them far beyond their opposing team, Gryffindor, who barely had any chance to score a Quaffle thanks to how intently skilled Ravenclaw’s Keeper was in guarding the goal post, keeping one after another Quaffle away from the goal post. Both the Seekers of the respective team didn’t seem to have any hope in finding the snitch; Ravenclaw’s Seeker seemed pretty antsy now, but Gryffindor’s Seeker, however…

…looked like he’s taking his own sweet time as if he’s simply taking a ride around the Quidditch pitch instead of being in a match.

It’s been half an hour.

Lan WangJi had come earlier today, sitting on his usual seat in the class, waiting.

Usually, he only needed to wait for 15 minutes. But half an hour had passed and there were no signs of hurried, excited footsteps, then a bubbly shadow jumping on him, before he’ll get to hear a bright “Lan Zhan! I’m here!” in his ears. Those were his routine, but those were nowhere to be seen.

Now, everything was quiet. Too quiet. He’s the only person in the class.

Was Wei Ying not coming today?
